Senior Project Controller/Cost is accountable to develop, progress and forecast all phases of the project costs using the most current industry practices and software. Provide cost planning leadership and integrate with engineering, procurement, schedule, technical & construction disciplines for seamless reporting to insure effective Capital Project Delivery.   KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsible for project budget, invoicing, change control and cost forecasting for the entire engineering, procurement, construction and qualification (EPCQ) life cycle. - Work in a highly collaborative and dynamic project environment. Collaborate with estimating, procurement and project management on project scope coordination, work package definition, contract development and bid analysis. - Develop & evaluate project control budgets with input from partners including clients, estimating, vendors and contractors. - Work with project team to agree contractor SOVs and certify progress, invoicing & payment. Follow-on with accounting to ensure alignment of project forecast with current funding and billings to client. Insure appropriate back-up documentation for all phases. - Actively manage change control process. Monitor cost trends & changes with follow-on validation & agreement of pricing. We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our industry-leading Electrical Engineering team at our EMEA Office located in Dublin 12 Ireland.    The Electrical Engineer assists in planning, designing and directing electrical engineering projects within the Design Department. Assignments contain specific tasks on project teams and the Electrical Engineer is expected to use their education, creativity and expertise to resolve the engineering problems and tasks as assigned. However, more experienced staff will always be available to help the Engineer when needed.   Job Duties and Responsibilities - Prepares design computations and quantity estimates and develops probable construction cost estimates for the smaller, less complex projects within the business unit (medium voltage power distribution, low voltage systems, fire alarm systems, backup power generation, electrical power distribution, life safety systems, etc.). - Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.). - Modifies reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies and designs for the project. - Makes calculations using engineering formulas and skills for design such as lighting calculations, power distribution calculations, equipment sizing, etc. - Creates specialised drawings such as electrical riser diagrams. - Selects equipment based on recommendations of Project Designer/Engineer and fills out equipment schedules. - Provides drawing for own designs and produces sketches to incorporate in drawings by drafters. - Researches design options and document findings for Project Designer/Engineer. - Keeps Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional services. IPS is hiring!  We are looking for a talented Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our newly established team to be based at our German office locations in Frankfurt and Nurnberg.     The Lead Mechanical Engineer works independently on various projects as assigned by the Discipline Director or a Project Manager.  The Lead Mechanical Engineer will oversee the entire HVAC design process and assist as a technical expert on specialised design projects within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Medical Device industries.  The Lead may work on several concurrent projects and is recognised as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Mechanical Engineering Discipline.    Job Duties and Responsibilities - Assesses project requirements, breaks projects into tasks, and works with Project Managers to determine scope of work while overseeing budget and staffing. - Writes scopes of work for mechanical designs (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Utilities) based on preliminary review and client meetings. - Prepares engineering studies and schematic design for new HVAC systems and analyses the operation of existing systems. - Ability to analyse existing HVAC and central utility plant systems and equipment and determine applicability for use in renovation projects. - Works with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to building codes is required. - Assigns and reviews the work of the project design teams, checks the progress of the work, and alerts Project Managers of scope changes or additional services. - Ability to perform target cost design work when projects have initial target construction costs. - Coordinates all aspects of project document completion within IPS, externally with clients, and with other relevant design professionals. - Ability to develop mechanical discipline specific construction budgets based on the project scope.   - Special projects as assigned.

This individual should have experience with project scope development, programming, conceptual design, pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, material and personnel flow development, material and system evaluation, detail design and construction administration. Will work independently on various projects as assigned and will oversee the assigned day to day operational activities of the discipline.  He/she will oversee the entire design process or assist as a technical expert on specialised design projects. We are looking for a Commissioning/Validation Engineer to join our newly formed Germany team, based at our German offices located in Nurnberg & Frankfurt.   Performs cGMP compliance based services (commissioning, qualification, validation, consulting, etc.) as developed and defined in project agreements with IPS’ clients. Follows IPS and client standards and requirements, overall good industry practices for C/Q/V services and regulatory requirements. May also perform standalone commissioning services for non-FDA regulated clients.   Job Duties and Responsibilities - Demonstrated/recognised areas of expertise by industry (Sterile, OSD, Biotech, Medical Device), by equipment/systems (lyophilizers, autoclaves, packaging, compression/encapsulation, etc.), or by validation activity (process, cleaning, CSV, methods, etc.).
